Mort Marker and the Buckhorn Boys featuring Mrs. Unruh will entertain you Saturday night with music you can listen to and to dance to from 7:30 PM until 11:30 PM (later when there’s an enthusiastic crowd).  There range of music spans from classics of Country to Theater, Movie Classics and Jazz.  Don’t be afraid of asking for your favorites of Country, Jazz, Swing, Rock and Roll or Broadway Show Tunes.  They may not perform your favorite, but they’ll know something that will please your musical appetite.  Come and experience the music of “The Greatest Guitar Player in the World” along with the song styling performance of “The Lady for All Seasons”, Mrs. Unruh.

Mort Marker- Lead Guitar and Vocals, Steal Guitar, Banjo, and Harmonica.

Mort is a gifted musician and singer; his talents have earned him the recognition and respect of many great entertainers.  Mort has worked with Elvis Presley, John Davidson, Sons of the Pioneers, Don Ho and Wanda Jackson to name a few.  His TV credits include the Smothers Brothers Show, Sonny & Cher, and Farm Aid with Merle Haggard. Mort’s movie credits include, “The Hindenburg”, “FBI Story”, and “Iron Sides”.

 

Mrs. Unruh- Song Stylist and Las Vegas Performer

“The Fabulous Mrs. Unruh” opened at the Frontier Hotel in Las Vegas.  She’s still ‘kicking up her heels’, singing and performing the classics like: “This Lady is a Tramp”, “What Now My Love”, “My Old Guitar” What’ll I Do” and “All That Jazz”.  Mrs. Unruh was married to the late Jesse Unruh speaker of the California Assembly and California campaign chair for both President Kennedy and Bobby Kennedy.  

  


Gary Hill

Drums and Harmony Vocals

Drummer extraordinaire!  Gary began at an early age playing with his dad.  He’s worked with the incredible singer nad writer Lee Greenwood and played with “The Bob Ringwald Trio” (Bob is the father of Molly Ringwald).  Gary also worked with “The Apollo’s”, Tony Visco, Eddy Drake and Johnny Hammer.  His TV credits include, “The Del Reeves Show”, “The Lee Raymond Show” and “The Perry Mason Show”.

 

Mike LeBerthon- Rhythm and Lead Guitar and Vocals

Mike is the youngest of the Buckhorn Boys.  The protégé of Mort Marker, Mike occasionally will challenge Mort in a dueling guitar experience that will leave you amazed at this young talent.  Mike brings a new flavor with songs like “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Bad to the Bones”.  Come and be one of those who will says years from now, “I knew Mike before he was famous.”

 
Ed Greenwald - Bass Guitar and Vocals
         Ed is a talented multi-instrumentalist
and the newest member of the group; On Bass he has appeared on the same venue with Jerry Lee Lewis, Glen Campbell, Janie Fricke, Lacy J. Dalton and Southern Pacific. On Drums he has performed with The Soul Survivors and backed up the Coasters, The Penguins and The Shirelles.  As lead vocalist and on Guitar, Ed fronted his own band for many years with Johnny Fortune and backed up Terry Stafford.
